Maggi was invented in Switzerland in 1884. Maggi is an international brand of seasonings, instant soups, and noodles that originated in Switzerland in late 19th century. The Maggi compony was acquired by nestle in 1947.  



1.  Masala Maggi


Ingredients:-
Packets of Maggi
1,1/2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger
2 slit green chilies
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped capsicum
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste

Direction:-
1. To make vegetable masala maggi, heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, add the ginger and green chilies add the saute on a medium flame for few seconds.

2. Add the onion and saute on  a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes. 

3. Add the tomatoes and saute on  a medium flame for 1 minute.

4. Add the capsicum and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute.

5. Add the turmeric powder, garam masala and 2 maggi masala sachet, mix well and  a saute on a medium flame for 30 seconds.

6. Add 2 cups of water and salt, mix well and cooked on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

7. Add the maggi noodles, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, or till the water absorbed  completely.

8. Discard the green chilies.

9. serve vegetable masala maggi immediately.


2.  Egg Maggi



Ingredients:-
2-3 eggs
2 single pack of maggi
A little less than 1/2 cups water
1/2 medium onion
1/2 capsicum or bell peppers
red or green chilli  to taste
1 cup shreded cabbage
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala 
1/2 tsp red chili powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste 
1-2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
2-3 tbsp of hot and sweet maggi sauce

Direction
1. To cook the Maggi, in a microwave safe bowl, break 2 packs of maggi, add the masala, leave a little bit to garnish in the end.

2. Add a little less than 1 cups of water. cook in the microwave for 4 minutes on high. Once done keep it aside. 

3. you can even cook the maggi on the stove, follow the same instructions.

4. in a pan, add 1-2 tbsp of olive oil, once hot add the slice onion and fry on high flame for 4 minutes until the onion becomes crisp.

5. Add the capsicum and the chilies next and fry to 3-4 minutes. then add the spices, a pinch of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder and salt to taste.

6. Cook for a minute and then add 2-3 tbsp of hot and sweet maggi sauce and saute for another 30 seconds.

7. Then push the veggies aside and break 2-3 eggs, scramble and combine the eggs with the veggies. cook until the mixture is completely dry.

8. Toss in the cooked maggi and mix well for about 2 minutes and your egg maggi is done. 


3.  Egg Bhurji Maggi



Ingredients:-

Maggi
1 tbsp oil
1 large chopped onion
3 chopped green chilies
2 eggs
3 tbsp coriander leaves
salt

Direction:-
1. Start by boiling water in pan. Add the maggi masala followed by the noodles.

2. Chop up the onions and the tomatoes, add them next.

3. Add salt and pepper to taste.

4. Add butter and grated cheese. set the prepare maggi aside for now.

5. Take a pan add butter and capsicum.

6. crack an egg and fry it.

7. Add pepper powder and chili flakes.

8. once the egg is cooked , add the cooked maggi.

9. Now, grate the cheese on top, mix well and serve hot.


4.  Bread Maggi



Ingredients:-
5-6 bread slices
1 maggi pack
1 packet maggi masala 
1 capsicum finely chopped
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp oragano
1/2 cup cheese grated
salt to taste

Direction:-
1. Boil 1 cup water in a pen, add maggi, chopped capsicum, magi masala, and salt.

2. Cook until the water is evaporated.

3. Then add grated cheese, chilli flakes and oregano to it, mix well.

4. Take small amount of the stuffing and prepare small oval shaped balls.

5. Now take the bread slice and remove the sides of bread.

6. Roll them flat using rolling pin, roll as thin as possible.

7. Place the stuffing prepared previously and roll them. press the edges to seal them tights.

8. Brush the edges with water and seal them properly.

9. Heat the pan, drizzle little oil and  place the stuffed bread roll on pan and shallow fry them.

10. serve hot with tomato ketchup.


5.  Soupy Maggi



Ingredients:-
1 Packet Maggi noodles
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
as needed salt
as needed Tomato ketchup
3 cup water

Directions:-
1. Take water in the pen and bring it to boil. Add maggi seasoning, salt, turmeric powder and black pepper powder.

2. Add Maggi noodles. Bring it to boil on high flame then reduce heat.

3. Add tomato ketchup. Allow it to cook on simmer for a couple of minutes.

4. Now serve the soupy maggi noodles.


6.  Chicken Maggi



Ingredients:-
1 pack maggi
200 gm boneless chicken
1 onion sliced
1 tbsp garlic fine chopped
1 tbsp red chili powder
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp tomato sauce

Directions:-
1. Add salt, red chili powder, taste maker in chicken pieces in a bowl.

2. Marinate for 15 minuts.

3. Boil maggi and keep aside.

4. Pour oil in a pen.

5. Add garlic and onion

6. Saute

7. Cook Marinate chicken

8. Cover it.

9. Mix boil maggi and chicken

10. Add tomato sauce

11. serve hot


7.  Prawn Maggi



Ingredients:-
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cm piece fresh ginger finely grated
1 clove garlic crushed
300g green prawns, peeled, Tails intact, Deveined
2 packet maggi
2 tbsp maggi oyster sauce
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 packet snow pea sprouts, Halved
1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped fresh coriander sprigs, to serve

Directions:-
1. Heat a wok over high heat. Add oil to coat. Add onion, ginger, garlic and prawns. stir-fry for 2 minutes or until prawns are cooked.

2. Meanwhile cook maggi fusion noodles according to packet instructions. Add noodles, maggi oyster sauce, lime juice, snow  pea sprouts and chopped coriander to prawn mixture. stir-fry for 1-2 minutes or until heated through.

3. Divide the stir-fry among serving bowls and top with coriander springs to serve.


8.  Tomato Maggi



Ingredients:-
1 packet noodles
1 tomato pureed
1 tbsp butter
to taste salt and black pepper powder
as needed oil

Directions:-
1. Boil the maggi noodles.

2. Heat butter and tomato puree.

3. Saute well adding salt and pepper powder

4. Now add boiled maggi toss well adding sugar.


9.  Paneer Maggi



Ingredients:-
1 pack maggi
1 tsp oil
1 large chopped fine onion
3 chopped fine green chilies
1 large chopped fine tomato
80gms paneer
3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
salt

Directions:-
1. Heat the oil and saute green chilies and onion till golden  brown.

2. Add tomatoes and cook, until they turn soft.

3. Then add the grated paneer and mix well.


10.  Dal Shorba Maggi



Ingredients:-

1 Pack Maggi
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 chopped green chilies
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 small cup cooked dal
1 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:-
1. Cook one pack of Maggi masala as per the instructions on the pack.

2. Now, Heat the oil, add the onions and green chili, saute till golden- brown. 

3. Then, add the cooked dal and water, bring to boil.
